In January, the Women's Spiritual Growth Group will begin a new book, Religion Gone Astray: What we found at the Heart of Interfaith, written by pastor Don Mackenzie, Rabbi Ted Falcon, and Iman Jaml Rahman, also known as the Interfaith Amigos. In this book the authors grapple with some difficult issues facing many people today including the three Abrahamic faiths from which they speak. They invite readers to grapple as well.

• Chapter 2 Violence: Justifying Brutality in the Name of Faith
• Chapter 3 Inequality of Men and Women: The Patriarchal Stranglehold on Power
• Chapter 4 Homphobia: A Denial of Legitimacy
• Chapter 5 Underneath It All: God and Revelation
